New Show at SKY Art Gallery
Beth has a new show, "Cross Currents", at SKY Art Gallery in Aberdeen, NC. The show features paintings of the coast of Ireland and of North Carolina. The collection of paintings illustrates the subtle variations in two landscapes that have been shaped differently by time, the elements, and use. The show hangs through the month of October.
Beth Creates Artwork for New Book
Beth has created the cover art for prominent cookbook author Jean Anderson's new book, A Love Affair with Southern Cooking (view illustration). Information about the book's release (October 16) as well as meet-the-author events and reviews of the book are at Jean's web site.
Beth's painting, "Top of the Hill" (view illustration) has been accepted in the Southeastern Pastel Society's 10th International Exhibition. With this acceptance, she has earned Signature Status in the Society.
Beth is in Somerhill Gallery
Somerhill Gallery now represents Beth's work. Over the last thirty years, Somerhill has built a reputation as one of the very few galleries in North Carolina that can be favorably compared to galleries in much larger metropolitan areas.
